Cameron Rae: Teenager Denies Murdering Perth Man

Man Dies After Being Found Injured on Perth's South Methven Street

Teenager Appears in Court

An 18-year-old man died shortly after being found injured on a Perth street on Saturday night. Police have launched a murder investigation.

Emergency services were called to South Methven Street at around 10:40pm following reports of a disturbance. The victim, named as Cameron Rae, was found with serious injuries and was taken to Perth Royal Infirmary, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 16-year-old boy appeared in court on Monday in connection with the death. He was charged with murder and remanded in custody.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Detective Inspector Martin MacLean said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the South Methven Street area on Saturday evening and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious."
