Sven-Göran Eriksson has been battling cancer for over a year

In an interview with Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, Sven-Göran Eriksson's wife, Tina Mackler, and daughter, Lina Eriksson, spoke about his cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Eriksson was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2022 and given a year to live. He has since undergone chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

"It's been a tough year," said Mackler. "Sven has had to go through a lot of difficult treatments, but he's staying positive and fighting hard."

Despite his diagnosis, Eriksson is determined to continue his treatment and fight for his life.

"I'm not giving up," he said. "I'm going to keep fighting until the end.
